Romain Morotti
Senior Engineer, Man Group
Romain Morotti is a Senior Platform Engineer at Man Group, where he manages the research and development environment for the firm. His responsibilities include leading Python migration initiatives, integrating external open-source packages for internal environments, optimising Linux servers and compute clusters.
Prior to joining Man Group in 2021, Romain worked in similar roles managing the research and development infrastructure at JP Morgan and Hudson River Trading.
Romain holds a Master of Engineering in Computer Science and Networking from Grenoble Institute of Technology, France. He is also an active contributor to several open-source projects, including Python's pip package manager and the CPython interpreter.
