Mr Douglas will report to Man CEO, Emmanuel Roman, and will have responsibility for the Australian business which includes giving local and international investors access to Man’s range of products, including the suite of quantitative AHL strategies, the range of GLG alternative and long-only discretionary strategies and FRM, Man’s fund of hedge fund offering.

Mr Douglas, an Australian, joined Man directly from JP Morgan London where he spent the past five years working in the Chief Investment Office as Managing Director responsible for all Foreign Exchange and Emerging Markets. With a financial markets career of over 27 years he has worked at a number of leading investment firms, including Bankers Trust.
