Man Group plc (Man Group) today announces that, following approval from the Financial Conduct Authority, Mark Jones has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and as an Executive Director of Man Group, effective 1 January 2017. Mark has been undertaking the role of CFO Designate since the announcement of his intended appointment as CFO on 2 September 2016.
Luke Ellis, Chief Executive Officer of Man Group, said:
"Mark has made an exceptional start as CFO Designate and I am delighted to confirm the date of his formal appointment as CFO and welcome him to Man Group’s Board. I look forward to continuing to work with him alongside the senior executive team.”
There are no details relating to the appointment to be disclosed under Listing Rule 9.6.13.
