Man Global Private Markets (‘Man GPM’) focuses on investments in private markets, including real estate equity and debt, and specialty finance. We are agile in our approach, and seek to identify attractive investment opportunities which provide diverse risk-adjusted returns. We pride ourselves on our ability to innovate and have long-standing experience across a range of differentiated strategies. Man GPM manages US$ 3.0bn* in assets including committed capital, via investment teams in London, New York, Charlotte, and Pfäffikon.

We aspire to be a leader in integrating ESG and responsible investment (‘RI’) principles across our range of strategies. For example, in our real estate strategies, we seek to make a difference by delivering new affordable housing units to under-served markets.

We do this by integrating our proprietary software with third-party solutions, and leveraging Man Group’s infrastructure.

Our Investment Strategies

Man GPM is an experienced private markets investor with specialist expertise in real estate equity and debt, and direct lending to middle market companies.

Real Estate Equity – US Single Family Rentals

We have acquired or developed more than 4,000 single-family rental (‘SFR’) homes since 2012, leasing them to middle-income families across 17 metropolitan areas in the US. We focus on managing our SFR portfolios efficiently to deliver current income and long-term capital gain potential.

Real Estate Equity – UK Community Housing

Man GPM’s affordable housing strategy seeks to fill what we feel has been a significant and persistent gap in the supply of affordable housing in the UK. The strategy is designed to provide new housing units to the market, while generating long-term, inflation-protected income and the potential for capital gains.

Real Estate Debt – Senior Secured Lending

We have invested more than USD 6 billion in real estate debt across residential, office, industrial and retail sectors. We provide senior and whole loans to core-plus and value added projects in the US, UK and continental Europe.

Specialty Finance – Bridge Lane Secured Lending

Our specialty finance team, Bridge Lane, engages in direct-lending transactions with middle-market finance companies in North America. Bridge Lane has a differentiated offering within the broader direct lending universe. The team has invested over USD2 billion in more than 150 private debt transactions across various credit cycles.
