Douglas Hamilton, CFA

Douglas (‘Doug’) Hamilton is the COO for Man Group. In this role, Doug has oversight of Man Group’s Central Trading and Execution, Operations, Fund Treasury, Rest of World Office and Corporate Real Estate teams. Doug is a member of Man Group’s Executive Committee.

Doug joined Man Numeric in 2000, most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for Trading Platform and Core Technology. Prior to this, Doug served as Man Numeric’s COO and head trader for over a decade with responsibility for proprietary algorithmic trading efforts and more traditional execution infrastructure.

He previously worked for Boston Partners Asset Management, L.P.

Doug received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Bucknell University. He is a member of the Boston Security Traders Association, the CFA Society Boston and is a former member of the NASDAQ Quality of Markets Committee. Doug is also a CFA charterholder.
