Rory Ferguson
Partner and Managing Director, Middle East, Man Group
Rory Ferguson is a Partner and Managing Director at Man Group, responsible for Man Group's relationships with clients in the Middle East, Central Asia and Africa. Rory is also a member of Man Group's Global Sales and Marketing Management Committee.
Rory initially joined the fund of hedge fund unit of GLG Partners in 2008 with a global mandate and later moved to a MENA coverage role for the wider Man GLG group. Rory was formerly responsible for client coverage at Lloyd George Management (now part of Columbia Threadneedle Investments), an Asian and Global Emerging Market equity manager.
Prior to that, Rory graduated with honours from Newcastle University in 2002 and subsequently spent five years in the British Army having commissioned from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst.
