Romy Shum is Head of Business Management – GPM UK/EEA, dedicated to Man Global Private Markets (‘Man GPM’) activity in the UK and Europe. She is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of community housing, credit risk sharing and European real estate debt, and drives activity across finance, technology and business operational risk for Man GPM globally.
Romy joined Man Group in 2016, and before her current role was Senior Business Manager for Man GPM. She has also worked in Global Sales Management, focused on business planning and sales strategy implementation, and Corporate Development at Man Group.
Romy holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Durham University and is a CFA charterholder.
