Robert Moore
Robert Moore is Managing Director and Head of Quantitative Strategies, responsible for quantitative, relative value, and multi-strategy investing within External Alpha, Solutions, at Man Group. He designed and built the Man China Opportunities programme, a long-biased equity strategy combining quantitative investing, structuring, and relationship management. During his time at Man Group, Rob has been involved in significant strategic initiatives, including the Man Numeric acquisition.
Rob began his career in the late 1990s trading derivatives at Salomon Brothers, before joining FRM in 2003 as an analyst. Man Group acquired FRM in 2012 and renamed it External Alpha, Solutions.
Rob graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge with an MA in Mathematics and from London Business School with an MSc in Finance with Distinction.
