Pierre di Maria

Pierre di Maria is a Portfolio Manager at Man Group, specialising in special situations and complex, high-conviction investment opportunities across the capital structure. He joined Man Group in 2024.
Before joining Man Group (Man GLG), Pierre was a Partner responsible for Event-Driven strategies at Cheyne Capital Management and Meditor Capital Management. Earlier in his career, he managed Event-Driven portfolios at Highbridge Capital and Lehman Brothers.
Pierre holds master’s degrees in mathematical engineering from École Polytechnique and in Mechanical Engineering from ENSAM (École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers) in Paris. He has also passed the written examination for the Bar of England and Wales. In addition, Pierre serves as a reserve officer in the French Navy.
