Leonor Chabannes

Head of Discretionary and Client Solutions Engineering, Man Group

Leonor Chabannes is Head of Discretionary and Client Solutions Engineering at Man Group. She is also a member of the firm's Technology Management Committee. She leads the engineering teams responsible for the tools, platforms and data used by Man Group's discretionary investment teams, including data visualisations, quantitative tools and AI-driven workflows to support the investment process. She is also responsible for the technology underpinning portfolio solutions and fund allocation tools for multi-strategy funds; responsible investment technology, including ESG data management and RI-based signal infrastructure; and the firm's sales and marketing technology.

Prior to joining Man Group in 2021, Leonor was at Goldman Sachs, where she was responsible for running trading automation for the delta one systematic market making desk. She started her career at Morgan Stanley as a quantitative strategist.

Leonor holds a master's degree in applied mathematics and statistics from ENSAE Paris Tech and a master's in financial engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
