Romy Shum is a Managing Director and Head of Business Development for Solutions at Man Group. Based in London, she leads new business development and oversees non-investment activity across multi-strategy products and bespoke solutions.
Since joining Man Group in 2016, Romy has held several positions including Director of Strategy, where she worked closely with the Executive Committee to drive firm-wide strategic initiatives. Previously, she served as Head of Business Management – UK/EEA for the firm's private markets division, overseeing real assets and private credit strategies. Her experience at Man Group also spans Corporate Development and Global Sales Management.
Romy holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Durham University and is a CFA charterholder.
