Rachael Herriott is Head of Investment Risk within Solutions.

Prior to joining Man Group in 2022, Rachael spent three years at Balyasny Europe Asset Management as a senior quantitative researcher in the portfolio managers’ development team, focusing on Europe and Asia equity long-short. Before that, she was at Man Group in two different roles: as a quantitative analyst in the Man AHL equities team and as a quantitative researcher at Man GLG. She began her career in 2007 at MSCI, where she worked in equity risk model research and applied research relating to both Barra and RiskMetrics.

Rachael holds a PhD in Pure Mathematics and a First Class MMath (Hons) Mathematics degree, both from the University of Leeds.
