Russell Korgaonkar

CIO, Systematic, Man Group and CIO, Man AHL

Russell Korgaonkar is CIO of Systematic at Man Group (Man AHL), with overall responsibility for Man Group's systematic investment strategies. He chairs the Macro Investment Committee and the Systematic Management Committee, and sits on the Research Council, the Systematic Micro Investment Committee, and Man Group's Executive Committee. He is also CIO of Man AHL.

Russell previously served as Director of Investment Strategies at Man AHL, where he was responsible for the firm's Liquid Strategies unit,  which develops and runs scalable systematic strategies, as well as its Institutional Solutions business. He joined Man Group in 2001 as a researcher, moving into portfolio management with a focus on systematic cash equity strategies, and was named Head of Portfolio Management in 2011.

Russell holds a First Class BA/MA in Physics from the University of Oxford.
