Simon Jones is Head of Platform Architecture & DevOps at Man Group. He is responsible for the technical direction and continuous evolution of the core operational and investment management platform, from technology selection to the complete software development lifecycle.
Simon joined Man Group in 2016 and held the roles of Senior Developer and later Head of Platform Engineering, before assuming his current role in 2023. Prior to Man Group, Simon held positions at a diverse range of institutions from commodity and energy trading through precision measurement and manufacturing control systems.
Simon holds a BEng in Electronic Engineering from Birmingham University.
