Otto Hamaoui

Otto Hamaoui is Director of Alternatives within Systematic at Man Group (Man AHL), where he oversees portfolio management, allocation and portfolio construction across the systematic range of alternatives products, alongside division-wide responsibility for portfolio analytics. He sits on the firm's Macro and Micro Investment Committee, the Systematic Management Committee, and the Systematic Research Council.

Otto joined Man AHL in 2016 to build out its medium-frequency cash equities trading effort. He subsequently served as Deputy Head of Equities Research before taking on the Director of Portfolio Management role. Prior to Man AHL, he spent several years at Morgan Stanley across a range of equity derivatives roles, developing and running quantitative trading models.

Otto is a graduate of École Centrale Paris and holds an MPhil in Quantitative Finance from Université Denis Diderot (Paris 7).
