Sam Ratcliff
Managing Director and Head of Order Management and Analytics, Man Group
Sam Ratcliff is Managing Director and Head of Order Management and Analytics, responsible for trading platform development across Man Group. Sam joined Man AHL in 2015 to work within Man AHL as a Quantitative Developer within the fixed income research team and moved to head up Research Technology within Man AHL in 2017. Between 2018 and 2024, Sam was our Head of Execution Technology building a consolidated Execution capability across Man Group, including Algorithmic Execution.
Before joining Man AHL in 2015, Sam worked as a developer at Daiwa Capital Markets Europe in counterparty risk and convertible bonds trading.
Sam holds an MEng (First Class Honours with Distinction) in Computer Systems and Software Engineering from the University of York.
