Nick Shires
Global Co-Head of Operations, Man Group
Nick Shires is Global Co-Head of Operations at Man Group, based in London. He oversees comprehensive post-execution operations across the middle and back office functions, including trade management, fund accounting, fund operations, account implementation, regulatory reporting, and service provider management. In addition, Nick also has oversight for outsourced operational functions and maintains key fund administrator relationships.
Nick was previously Global Head of Middle Office, and prior to joining Man Group in 2011, Nick was a vice president in the product control division of Barclays Capital, where he worked for five years across a variety of asset classes.
Nick graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Finance from Loughborough University and qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant (‘CIMA’) in 2005.
