Pascal Engel
Director, Group Financial Risk, Man Group
Pascal Engel is a Director in Group Financial Risk, and the Chief Risk Officer of two Swiss-based asset managers, and Chairman of the board of Liechtenstein-based Man Europe AG. Besides, his regional roles in risk and compliance, he holds firmwide responsibilities in counterparty / credit risk and liquidity contingency planning. He also sits on committees approving valuations recommended by investment risk and middle office.
Prior to joining Man Group in 2010, he held roles in trading and portfolio management at UBS, a Zurich private bank, and Goldman Sachs. Pascal Engel holds a degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), and a postgraduate diploma in Applied Statistics from the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich).
