Max Davies
Director, APAC Insurance, Man Group
Max Davies is Director in the Global Insurance team at Man Group. Based in Hong Kong, Max is responsible for partnerships with insurers across the APAC region and is dedicated to creating customised solutions using Man Group’s established capabilities across SAA, liquid and illiquid asset classes.
Max joined Man Group in 2023 from Wellington Management, where he held positions within the Global Insurance Solutions team in London and Hong Kong, supporting European and Asian insurers respectively. He was latterly in Hong Kong where he helped to build Wellington’s APAC insurance business. Prior to that, Max worked in fixed income at Commerzbank AG in London.
Max holds a first-class degree in Economics from Newcastle University. He is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
