Matthew McQuade

Matthew McQuade is a senior managing director and Head of Opportunistic Credit Trading at Man Group.
He joined Man Group in 2025 as part of the firm’s acquisition of Bardin Hill, where he was Head of Opportunistic Credit Trading. Prior to joining Bardin Hill, Matthew was head trader for Trishield Capital Management, an investment management firm specialising in distressed and special situations. Before that, he held a variety of roles at Lehman Brothers and subsequently at Barclays Capital. He began his career in loan syndications at Barclays Capital and his most recent role there was Head of the Distressed and Special Situations Sales desk.
Matthew holds a B.S. from Georgetown University.
