Jayendran Rajamony

Head of Equity Alternatives, Systematic, Man Group

Jayendran (‘Jay’) Rajamony is the Head of Equity Alternatives within Systematic at Man Group (Man Numeric). Jay also serves on Man’s Systematic Micro Investment Committee and is a member of the Systematic Management Committee.

Previously, Jay managed world market neutral and US small cap strategies, served on the strategic alpha research team and developed low volatility products at Man Numeric. Prior to joining Man Numeric in 2004, he worked at Independence Investments in Boston as a quantitative analyst.

Jay received a Bachelor of Technology degree in Naval Architecture from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India, a Master of Business Administration degree with distinction from Cornell University, and a doctorate degree in Physical Oceanography from the University of Rhode Island. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston. Jay is also a CFA charterholder.
