Gordon Coughlan
Head of Strategy, Technology, Man Group
Gordon Coughlan is Head of Strategy for Technology at Man Group. He is responsible for devising and driving strategy and transformation initiatives to maximise the impact of the technology function at the firm. This includes the firm’s path towards a single cohesive investment platform, achieving excellence in talent, culture, and diversity, building out a global team, and build versus buy decision making. He is a member of the Technology Leadership Committee.
Prior to his current role, Gordon served as Chief of Staff for Alpha Technology with responsibility for technology strategy and ensuring the operational readiness of the front office technology team. He was previously Head of Data for Man AHL and before joining Man Group, held positions at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
Gordon holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Warwick.
