Dawei Zhou
Portfolio Manager, Man Numeric
Dawei Zhou is a portfolio manager at Man Numeric, responsible for the day-to-day management of emerging market strategies. He is also involved in the group's research efforts to improve processes and models used by the team.
Prior to joining Man Numeric in 2025, Dawei was a portfolio manager and Head of Equity Factor Research at Franklin Templeton, where he was responsible for designing, developing and implementing innovative systematic equity solutions across regions and investment styles. Previously, Dawei worked at Putnam Investments as a portfolio manager within the Global Asset Allocation team, focusing on systematic equity strategies.
Dawei holds a bachelor's degree in computing and financial management from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the University of Chicago. He is also a CFA charterholder.
