David Ryan
Co-Head of Global Trend and Volatility, Systematic, Man Group
David Ryan is Co-Head of Global Trend and Volatility within Systematic at Man Group (Man AHL), with overall responsibility for research on Man’s systematic suite of traditional and alternative trend-following and volatility strategies.
David joined Man Group (Man AHL) in 2016 and previously worked in the AHL Core Research team, focusing on medium frequency trading strategies across both futures and cash equities. He was latterly Head of Fast Trading Strategies in Single Name Assets, leading a research team in the AHL Fast Trading group focusing on faster trading strategies in cash equities and corporate bonds.
He holds two master’s degrees in mathematics from University of Cambridge and in physics from the University of Oxford.
