Connor Brown, CFA

Connor Brown is a Senior External Alpha Investment Research Analyst within Solutions and is based in Switzerland. Connor is responsible for evaluating Private Credit and Event-driven funds and for monitoring existing investments. He also heads the Secondaries, Workout and Transitions (‘SWT’) team, which actively manages all illiquid hedge fund investments for Man External Alpha and its advisory clients, including secondary sales. Previously, Connor was a Senior Analyst in the SWT team.

Prior to this role, Connor was an Operational Risk Analyst in Man Group’s Multi-Manager Business. He performed due diligence on the governance, valuation, and operational infrastructure of hedge fund managers. In addition, he provided support regarding operational and valuation matters for Managed Accounts. Previously he supervised the team responsible for the Managed Account service model and the monitoring thereof.

Prior to joining Man Group in 2004, Connor worked at Partners Group in Baar, Switzerland. Connor graduated with a master's degree in finance from Zurich University and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.
