Man Group Graduate 2016

I studied Engineering at the University of Oxford and was the recipient of a bursary from Man Group during that time, which is how I first came across the internship programme. I interned at Man FRM, part of the Quant Research and Manager Research teams, in my penultimate year of university and then returned to Man Group after my final year for the graduate programme. I felt that the rotational structure of Man Group’s graduate scheme would offer me a flexible way of covering the breadth of what the firm has to offer.

During the course of the programme, I’ve been exposed to a variety of different areas of investment management and this has been a great way to understand more about the firm, and the wider industry. Throughout all of my rotations, I’ve had the chance to embed myself within each team and have always found everyone to be very friendly and approachable. The collegiate atmosphere and strong involvement in the team help to foster a positive environment in which we can learn a huge amount in each 6-month rotation.
